    Meet Chad

    Chad Tracy believes in a good work ethic and accomplishing goals. As a native Charlottean, he has seen the city grow since the 80s and has a well based knowledge of surrounding suburbs.

    Chad graduated from West Mecklenburg High School and attended East Carolina University where he played college baseball. In his junior year, Chad was drafted to play baseball professionally. He went on to have a 14-year professional career playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, Florida Marlins, Hiroshima Carp, Washington Nationals, and Anaheim Angels.

    Chad believes that it is important to finish what he starts. In 2021 he completed his degree from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in University Studies with a focus on Wellness Advocacy and Human Behavior.

    Chad married his college sweetheart, Katie, in 2005, and they now live in Waxhaw with their 4 daughters. He loves to play golf and coach a group of talented softball players for Team NC Baylog/Tracy as well as the Marvin Ridge High School Softball team.
